Reflections in a Stable

Again this year, Renaissance Voices present a concert of music for the season which is both reflective and celebratory. We will feature Esther Beresford's "Christmas Songs without Words", together with music which captures some of the scenes in the Bethlehem stable 2,000 years ago.  What was Mary pondering in her heart, both loving and fearful, as she rocked her child and sang lullabies, and what did Joseph make of all this?  The beasts in particular must have been most bewildered, particularly when all those people began to arrive!

Seating will be café style, and hot mulled wine and cider will be served.

$20 adults; $10 students

A presentation of the Christmas music of John Rutter, one of the most successful and well-known composers of choral music of our time. Rutter is universally known for his infectious melodic invention, consummate craftsmanship and sparkling orchestration so evident in his many delightful and joyous compositions.
