Shall We Dance?
The Musical Offering has snagged Lawrence Haegert, actor/dancer/choreographer, to perform in the concert, Shall We Dance? Haegert, a brilliant young performer, fresh from three seasons with the Stratford festival where he acted in Shakespearian productions, choreographed and danced historic dance, will be paired with Lesley Allred of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Aspirant Program. Period costumes will be worn. Musicians Laurel Ridd, baroque flute and Sylvia Scott Wortley, harpsichord, will illustrate the music for the dances.
